What is Dreamteam?
Let’s start with Esports. The reality is that not many people are well-acquainted with it, unlike regular sports. Esports is an extensive market, and it all started in the early 90s. At that time the gaming industry was barely in the $100 million range with just a dozen million players and Minesweeper as the most popular game. However, today’s gaming industry is already worth $100 billion with 2.3 billion players worldwide, and most importantly, 1.4 billion registered users are concentrated around the top ten most competitive titles. Eight of these are team-based games like Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Dota2 and Overwatch, which are all played in 5x5 or 6x6 modes. But while it’s easy to have fun playing solo, it becomes really tough for players to form a team and start an amateur career.
Presently, there are over 250 million active, competitive players in our target audience, across only 1 million teams. So where are the other 49 million people?! They’re not here yet for many reasons. And DreamTeam is here to solve those issues. For example, imagine looking for a job without recruitment websites or growing a company with no management tools. How about communicating without e-mail or hiring staff without resumes? Sounds unrealistic? Well, that’s the reality for these players. They have no way of solving even the most essential problems, like: Where can I find a team? How do I become a pro? Where can I find other teams to practice with? How do I manage my team? Where can I analyze team data?
Using blockchain & smart contract technologies, we have a unique opportunity to provide an all-in-one solution and build a multi-billion dollar economy on one platform. DreamTeam is the first Esports and Gaming recruitment and management network!

ICO Alert: How does the Dream Team token (DTT) function within the platform and why is it needed?
DreamTeam: DreamTeam Token is the only currency accepted for the DreamTeam intra platform transactions. You may ask, why do we even bother and not use US dollars or something else instead? The key reason is the security and convenience. All contractual obligations on DreamTeam are done via the application of smart contracts and paid in DreamToken Tokens that are directly tied to the Ethereum network. With us, you don’t have a middle-man charging you hefty fees for securing funds that need to be paid either as a salary to a player, or as prize money. Plus the transactions are instantaneous, meaning that as soon as all the smart contract requirements are met, you get paid.
Smart contracts will ensure contractual financial relations for all users without the participation of third parties. Currently, the average salary of a pro player is $10,000 per month. However, there is always the risk of fraud even at the professional level, and ever more so at the amateur level. It’s also often the case that tournament prize payouts are delayed for up to six months.
With DreamTeam we are aiming to provide a completely secure experience for all players. Teams can set their KPI’s for the team manager and team coach, and they, in turn, set personal KPI’s for each player. Then, after a period of time (e.g., after a month), everyone is auto-checked by smart contracts and depending on the results, all participants of the process receive their salary and bonuses. The same goes for tournament prize payouts, a smart contract is signed before the tournament start, and after the tournament every team will immediately receive a payment according to their placement results. For this very reason, we need DreamTeam Tokens.
We will gradually integrate DreamTeam tokens into the whole gaming and Esports ecosystem. This will include both the “virtual” segment (marketplaces, in-game items, etc.) and the “physical” (hardware, merchandise). Moreover, we plan to build/integrate special payment solutions in the future, so that DreamTeam token holders will be able to pay for gaming event tickets and even hardware.
After five years of continuous development and improvements, we will cover markets and services with a $4–5 billion yearly turnover.
ICO Alert: What is the need for the Dream Team platform at the moment? Why can’t people create teams and monetize them using Twitch or other platforms that already exist? What competition exists today?
DreamTeam: First of all, existing tools and websites are too vague in their offering, have poor design and are generally limited in what they can provide to all Esports gamers, both amateur, and pro. Secondly, there is a definite lack of essentials needed by the market, as it’s virtually impossible to create a team without investing several months of time and thousands of dollars into it!
DreamTeam provides an all-in-one solution for gamers who want to build, grow, manage and monetize their team. Teams, gamers, and coaches can get paid salaries and bonuses of all types (team to player, team to coach, player to personal coach and so on) using our platform in a fast and secure way. We provide a single solution to all these needs securely and professionally, that is easy for the common gamer to comprehend.
DreamTeam is an all-in-one solution. We offer every gamer a fast-track to creating a team and the easiest way to go from a novice, to amateur and, if desired, to professional gamer.
Finally, another issue is the current media & sponsorship landscape. Traditional sports revenue reaches $90 billion whereas Esports has a meager $400 million. But if you look at the audience size the divide is not as large — traditional sports has a 5 billion person audience and Esports has a 400 million person audience. This means that the ARPU in regular sports is around $18 and in the Esports it is only $1. All of this data makes us believe that the current Esports industry is a high-potential market with unlimited growth due to the unstructured and insecure market conditions. DreamTeam will create a multi-billion dollar ecosystem around the DreamTeam token that secures and structures the industry.
ICO Alert: Does Dream Team depend on partnerships with major games and/or sponsors, or is it strictly focused on the users who are looking to create, manage, and monetize their online gaming success?
DreamTeam: Let’s elaborate on your question in more detail. DreamTeam deals with the general gamers market, user acquisition and cooperates with game developers to provide an all-in-one platform. From the get-go, of course, we focus on users that want to build a team, but we also offer a solution through smart-contracts for teams and all Esports entities. We’re creating a platform for the whole Esports market!
We boost team creation and the general user base by attracting sponsors, as well as sponsoring teams and tournaments on our own. This lets us improve gamer engagement and increase the quantitative effect of the platform.
As for the game development side, we receive free detailed APIs that provide good player profile insights. Right now we are in the process of discussion with key game development companies so that we can get more extensive and in-depth APIs. This will let us provide better stats not only on players but on teams and tournament as well.
We are also conducting talks and signing agreements with advisors and partners, so stay tuned for those announcements!
ICO Alert: If an Esports player does not have a team or is not part of a team where do they fit into the Dream Team platform? Is it easy to join a team and work towards becoming a professional e-sports player?
DreamTeam: Nearly half of all players are engaged in competitive activities such as ranked matches (matches with a special ranking system) or some mini/amateur tournaments and want to know more about the reality of professional gaming (players, teams, and tournaments). For example, according to ResearchNow “Esports Gaming study,” 4 out of 5 League of Legends players and fans aspire to become professional gamers. With DreamTeam, finding a team and starting on the path to becoming a pro can be done at the click of a mouse.
DreamTeam: How does the monetization process work for teams, coaches, and sponsors? If I have a Dream Team platform team, how do I make money and succeed with my team? Is there a network effect required in order for a certain level of monetization to occur?
DreamTeam: DreamTeam is the only all-in-one platform where you’ll be able to find sponsorships & media right sales, prize money, salaries and player transfers. This is the first platform ever to unite all Esports businesses under one roof.
Teams, gamers, and coaches can get paid salaries and bonuses of all types. Sponsorship and media sales rights are securely signed via smart contracts, validated and paid via DreamTeam.
As for sponsors, DreamTeam is the go-to place simply because we offer transparency when choosing partners and signing contracts, provide access to hard to find “grassroots” teams, and open up access to standardized reporting and media traction. That will be achieved through a custom-made solution on our platform that is comparable to Google AdWords. Meaning that sponsors will have an opportunity to search for teams according to rank and region — an in-depth, detailed search that is not available anywhere else. This unparalleled product will also let the teams search for sponsors. Through smart contracts, the signing process, execution control, and payments are all done exactly as predefined.
All of this is currently unavailable in one single place, but DreamTeam will offer it within months.
ICO Alert: All Dream Team tokens are being exchanged at a 1:1 ratio for a more convenient platform in Q2 2018. Why is this happening and what are the details? How will the 1:1 swap work?
DreamTeam: Blockchain ensures the security of financial transactions between DreamTeam users. It also regulates this next-generation financial ecosystem. DreamTeam will operate on the first and largest Ethereum-based blockchain platform for smart contracts. At this time, Ethereum the ERC20 token standard is most suitable for DreamTeam’s needs to issue DreamTeam tokens. However, the use of other platforms is possible in the future, as new options become available on the market (with consequent migration to a new blockchain).
So for our token sale, we will use the Ethereum ERC20 token standard. In Q2 2018, when monetization is implemented, all tokens will be exchanged at 1=1 ratio for a more convenient platform (Eos/Tezos /Waves or we are going to develop our own protocol). This will let us increase the volume of transactions, minimize the incurred fees per transaction and remain up-to-date with the constantly evolving blockchain technology.
ICO Alert: How far along is the project today? What does the roadmap look like for the rest of 2017 and 2018?
DreamTeam: 2017 has been a groundbreaking year for us. Our beta platform currently provides all the basics a player needs, like creating a player/team profile, opening/filling in vacancies, and searching according to skill level. You can freely communicate on the platform and get the info you need securely and easily. From the start, we decided to support CS:GO players, with more games to come. In our next update, the platform will also support basic smart-contracts signing. In 2018 we plan to add the support for coaches, managers, team management, analytical tools, advanced smart contracts and much more.
Presently, we have already gathered a tremendous support from the industry leaders and top-professionals that lend us their hand in devising the best all-in-one solution for gamers. And we welcome all players to become the early adopters and help us make the DreamTeam platform great.
ICO Alert: As a non-Dream Team question, we like to ask for unique predictions on the cryptocurrency and ICO space in the near future. Where do you see the industry in 3–5 years?
DreamTeam: I think that with regards to the ICO market, it will change a lot in the next 3 to 5 years. In the short-term, 8–12 months perspective, when some of the first projects that had ICOs are unable to stand by their promises and create the product, the market will get trapped in a downward spiral and even collapse as investors become more cautious with their investments. In the long run, ICOs will become highly regulated, while at the same time being a real alternative to venture investments.
As for the future of cryptocurrency, I believe that we will see more and more people using them. But the number of different cryptocurrencies will be optimized. At the end of the day, there will be no more than 4–5 most popular cryptocurrencies left.
The presale begins on November 13, 2017 at 12pm EST and ends on November 19, 2017 at 12pm EST. For every one Ether contributed participants will receive 2000 DreamTeam tokens (DTT).

The second crowdsale will take place in January, with firm dates to be announced by the team at a future time. Contributors will be able to use Ether, Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum Classic as a means of contribution. Token Distribution Information
DTT is an ERC-20 token and tokens can be stored in an ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallet, or within a DreamTeam hosted platform wallet. Tokens will be distributed to contributors no later than 30 days after the end of each crowdsale. In 2018, the team has plans to exchange DreamTeam tokens at a 1:1 ratio for a token on a more efficient platform that is to be decided by the team at a future date. The team has suggested EOS, Waves, or Tezos as possibilities.
